（中央社布拉格16日綜合外電報導）捷克衛生部長表示，國內1名男子自南韓返國後疑似感染中東呼吸症候群（MERS），今天住進布拉格的醫院，檢驗結果預計最晚明天早上出爐。
男子住院的醫院召開記者會，衛生部長尼梅塞克（Svatopluk Nemecek）在會上表示：「這名1989年出生的男子5月30日由南韓旅遊返國，之後出現發燒與感冒症狀。」
尼梅塞克表示，MERS檢驗結果預計「最晚明天早上」出爐。
捷克鄰國斯洛伐克日前也有1名男子住進隔離病房，不過昨天檢驗結果排除感染MERS。
德國當局今天則表示，65歲德籍男子到阿布達比旅行期間感染MERS，本月病逝，這是歐洲今年第一起MERS相關死亡病例。
